DMK president M.K. Stalin announced the formal launch of dedicated social media pages for the newly instituted DMK Non-Resident Indian Wing, expanding the party institutional engagement with the global Tamil diaspora. Stalin conveyed his warmest greetings to overseas Tamils residing across various continents, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to economic development, technological innovation, and cultural preservation. He launched official Twitter and Facebook handles designed to maintain regular communication and organizational coordination.
Stalin invited expatriate Tamils, diaspora community leaders, and international youth to actively follow these digital handles and share their perspectives on state development, foreign employment welfare, and cultural exchange. He noted that the DMK has historically stood as an ardent champion of diaspora rights, advocating for consular support, safe repatriation during overseas crises, voting rights, and diaspora investment opportunities in Tamil Nadu through structured state initiatives.
The initiative marked an important step in integrating global Tamil voices into the party democratic policy formulation. Stalin reiterated that an incoming DMK government will establish dedicated diaspora welfare mechanisms and institutional platforms to protect the interests of non-resident Tamils across the world consistently.
