DMK president M.K. Stalin conducted an impactful We Reject ADMK Makkal Grama Sabha meeting at Kerakodahalli Panchayat in Palacode assembly constituency, Dharmapuri district, represented by the higher education minister. The rural interaction brought together hundreds of marginal farmers, agricultural laborers, sericulture workers, and rural women who shared pressing agrarian hardships. Participants highlighted severe water scarcity for farming, neglected local check dams, poor quality road infrastructure, and delayed disaster crop compensations.

Stalin noted that despite holding influential cabinet portfolios, local ruling party representatives had failed to execute transformative irrigation and drinking water projects for Dharmapuri district. He emphasized that the DMK participatory approach through Grama Sabhas directly incorporates the needs of dryland farmers into the party upcoming legislative manifesto. Stalin outlined plans to expedite regional river linking initiatives, provide agricultural subsidies, and establish modern agricultural processing centers for local horticultural produce across the district.

The gathering adopted the We Reject ADMK resolution with unanimous community backing. Stalin assured the residents of Kerakodahalli that the DMK will prioritize agrarian welfare, educational infrastructure, and water conservation throughout Dharmapuri once elected to administrative power in the state.
