DMK president M.K. Stalin chaired a crucial consultative meeting of party district secretaries in Chennai, consolidating organizational strategies and adopting key policy resolutions ahead of the Tamil Nadu assembly elections. Stalin stated that the resolutions crystallized the deep sentiments, immediate demands, and collective will of the people across the state. The primary resolution called for the democratic removal of the corrupt, autocratic AIADMK administration that had compromised state interests and squandered public resources.
The committee formally demanded the immediate, unconditional repeal of the Union government three contentious farm laws and urged prompt distribution of disaster compensation for farmers who suffered crop loss due to untimely heavy rainfall. In addition, the meeting strongly insisted on the immediate arrest and rigorous prosecution of all perpetrators involved in the Pollachi sexual assault case and demanded the long-delayed release of the seven Tamil prisoners convicted in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case.
The resolutions united the party leadership around crucial public concerns. Stalin directed district secretaries to execute statewide grassroots campaigns, ensuring that these vital public demands resonate in every constituency ahead of the upcoming elections.
