DMK president M.K. Stalin conducted an interactive We Reject ADMK Makkal Grama Sabha meeting at Adayalampattu Panchayat in Maduravoyal constituency. The suburban town gathering drew hundreds of local residents, daily wage earners, small vendors, and women eager to voice pressing local problems. Attendees raised severe civic concerns regarding inadequate stormwater drainage, sewage overflow, irregular municipal water supply, poor road connectivity, and lack of primary healthcare infrastructure in expanding peri-urban settlements.

Stalin actively listened to representations from local women and community elders, discussing practical solutions and detailing the DMK vision for balanced urban infrastructure development. He noted that suburban areas surrounding Chennai had been systematically neglected by the AIADMK administration, leaving thousands of working-class families without essential civic amenities. Stalin pointed out that municipal funds were routinely mismanaged on cosmetic projects while core drainage and sanitation needs remained unaddressed.

The grassroots meeting provided an effective platform for residents to articulate their civic frustration. Stalin assured the community that an incoming DMK government will systematically modernize suburban civic infrastructure, eliminate administrative bottlenecks, and guarantee reliable basic public amenities for all urban residents.
