DMK president M.K. Stalin issued a strongly worded condemnation of the AIADMK administration for registering severe police cases, including charges of attempt to murder, against farmers and DMK alliance leaders who organized peaceful tractor rallies. Stalin stated that democratic demonstrations were held across Tamil Nadu in solidarity with nationwide agrarian protests demanding the unconditional repeal of the Union government three controversial farm laws. He accused Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami of acting subserviently toward central authorities while penalizing Tamil Nadu agriculturalists for exercising their constitutional right to dissent.

Stalin criticized Palaniswami for previously disparaging protesting farmers as middlemen, asserting that such derogatory comments exposed the chief minister false claim of being a genuine peasant. He affirmed that intimidation tactics, criminal prosecutions, and administrative hostility will never deter the DMK or its coalition partners from defending peasant livelihoods and food sovereignty. Stalin demanded the immediate, unconditional withdrawal of all politically motivated cases lodged against rally participants.

The statement reinforced the DMK resolute alliance with India farming communities. Stalin reiterated that democratic resistance will continue vigorously until the oppressive agrarian legislations are completely scrapped by Parliament.
