ஆளுநர் நல்ல முடிவு எடுப்பார் என நேற்று சட்டமன்றத்தில் பொய் தகவல் அளித்தது ஏன்?

DMK president M.K. Stalin strongly criticized Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami for misleading the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly regarding the release of the seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case. Stalin revealed that while the Governor had already rejected the state cabinet recommendation on January 25, the Chief Minister sent another letter on January 29 and falsely claimed in the legislature that the Governor would take a positive decision. He condemned the ruling AIADMK for playing duplicitous political games with a deeply sensitive humanitarian issue.
Stalin asserted that the mask had fallen from the AIADMK leadership, exposing their complete subservience to central authorities and their unwillingness to firmly defend state cabinet autonomy under Article 161 of the Constitution. He pointed out that the DMK had consistently demanded the immediate release of the seven convicts who had spent three decades in prison, boycotting the Governor address in protest against continuous administrative inaction.
The sharp intervention exposed the state government administrative double standards on regional rights. Stalin demanded an immediate halt to political theatrics, urging decisive legal action to secure the long-delayed release.
