தமிழகத்திலேயே தமிழை அவமதிக்கும் துணிச்சல் எப்படி வருகிறது?

DMK president M.K. Stalin strongly condemned the policy of making Sanskrit and Hindi compulsory in Kendriya Vidyalaya schools operating across Tamil Nadu while denying students the option to study Tamil as a language subject. Stalin questioned how central authorities had acquired the audacity to insult the Tamil language on its native soil, calling the exclusion a deliberate affront to the cultural dignity of the state. He criticized Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami for surrendering state autonomy and behaving as though Tamil Nadu were leased out to the Bharatiya Janata Party.
Stalin emphasized that the Dravidian movement had fought historic struggles to defend linguistic rights and protect regional identity from cultural hegemony. He asserted that any educational framework operating within Tamil Nadu must respect the local linguistic heritage and provide instruction in Tamil. Stalin demanded that central educational authorities immediately rectify this discriminatory language policy by ensuring that Tamil is taught as a regular subject in all central schools across the state.
The strong stance garnered broad resonance among educators, students, and linguistic rights advocates. Stalin reaffirmed that the DMK will persistently resist language imposition and uphold regional pride.
