பா.ஜ.க. அரசு அனுமதிக்கிறது; அடிமை அ.தி.மு.க. அரசு வேடிக்கை பார்க்கிறது.

DMK president M.K. Stalin issued a fiery condemnation on February 20, 2021, against the insidious attempt to impose an Aryan saffron makeover on celebrated Tamil sage Thiruvalluvar in a Central Board of Secondary Education Class 8 textbook. Stalin pointed out that the Union BJP government was permitting the distortion of historic Tamil cultural icons to advance its sectarian ideological agenda, while the subservient AIADMK government in Tamil Nadu watched passively without protest. He characterized the depiction as a deliberate affront to Tamil literary heritage and cultural identity.
Stalin declared that Thiruvalluvar represented the universal, egalitarian, and secular philosophy of Tamil culture, whose timeless Thirukkural transcends religion, caste, and sectarian dogma. He warned communal forces that Tamil Nadu would never permit the saffronization of its ancient intellectual heritage through deceitful cultural maneuvers. Stalin affirmed that the self-respecting Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam would vigorously resist every conspiracy to dilute Tamil pride, demanding the immediate withdrawal of the distorted imagery from school textbooks and an unconditional apology from educational authorities.
Tamil scholars, educators, and civil society organizations strongly supported Stalin uncompromising stance. His fierce defense of Thiruvalluvar reinforced the DMK historic role as the steadfast guardian of Tamil cultural heritage and secular rationalism.
