DMK president M.K. Stalin reviewed thousands of public grievance petitions gathered from rural and urban communities across Chengalpattu district on February 27, 2021. He pointed out that essential civic projects remained unfinished because public funds were diverted toward corrupt contracting cartels. Stalin gave a personal undertaking to the people of Chengalpattu that every single petition submitted during the Ungal Thoguthiyil Stalin tour would be examined systematically and resolved within one hundred days of his government taking charge.
