Stalin appealed to the electorate to deliver a resounding victory to Secular Progressive Alliance candidates, warning against authoritarian conspiracies orchestrated by the BJP to dismantle Puducherry democratic identity through unelected gubernatorial interference, political defection operations, and administrative sabotage.

Stalin condemned how the BJP-led Union government used gubernatorial authority to choke welfare initiatives, stall development schemes, and dishonor the popular mandate of elected representatives in Puducherry. He reminded voters of the Dravidian movement intimate historical bond with Puducherry, famously nurtured by revolutionary poet Paventhar Bharathidasan. Stalin affirmed that the alliance would wage an unyielding struggle to attain full statehood for Puducherry, restore educational subsidies, revive shuttered textile mills, and generate durable employment for educated local youth.
