Celebrating maternal devotion and feminine resilience on the occasion of Mother's Day, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conveyed affectionate greetings to mothers across Tamil Nadu and the wider world, including his own revered mother Dayalu Ammal. Describing motherhood as a sacred embodiment of selfless sacrifice, lifelong nurturing, and boundless love, Stalin observed that mothers occupy the highest pedestal of moral reverence in Tamil culture, as mirrored in the veneration of the mother tongue and motherland.
The Chief Minister solemnly reaffirmed that the newly installed Tamil Nadu government stands firmly dedicated to protecting maternal healthcare, economic autonomy, and socioeconomic dignity for all women. He highlighted that within hours of assuming office, he had signed crucial executive orders sanctioning free bus travel for women on government transport corporations, directly reducing domestic expenditure and expanding educational and employment mobility. Stalin pledged continuous policy focus on maternal health programs, nutritional security, institutional safety, and institutional welfare schemes tailored for mothers and girl children.
Stalin sensitive honoring of motherhood reflected his deeply progressive feminist philosophy. By translating respect for women into structural welfare policies, his administration championed gender equality and dignified living for all women across Tamil Nadu.
