நாளொன்றுக்கு 20000 குப்பிகளை வழங்கிட மத்திய வர்த்தகத்துறை அமைச்சர் @PiyushGoyal இடம் தொலைபேசியில் வலியுறுத்தினேன்.

Advocating vigorously for vital medical supplies to protect afflicted citizens, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin held an urgent telephonic discussion with Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal. Stalin stressed that the existing central allocation of 7,000 vials of antiviral Remdesivir per day was grossly inadequate to meet the surging clinical requirements of critically hospitalized patients across state medical colleges and private healthcare facilities.
The Chief Minister made a compelling demand for Tamil Nadu daily quota to be substantially increased to 20,000 vials, reflecting the state large caseload and active clinical demand. Highlighting the extreme anxiety experienced by patient attendants waiting in distressed queues, Stalin urged the Union Government to expedite enhanced manufacturing quotas and prompt logistical dispatch. Minister Piyush Goyal offered a positive assurance that the Union Government would sympathetically review the urgent plea and take swift administrative measures to enhance medicine supplies.
Stalin proactive and assertive federal representation highlighted his relentless dedication to public health defense. By directly engaging central leadership with concrete clinical data, his timely intervention ensured vital pharmaceutical resources were secured for critical hospital wards across Tamil Nadu.
