Accelerating the statewide distribution of vital respiratory infrastructure, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin flagged off specialized consignments of oxygen cylinders to bolster healthcare capacity across high-caseload districts. The state government coordinated with the Confederation of Indian Industry to import 750 medical-grade oxygen cylinders, dispatching them immediately to eight vulnerable districts including Erode, Krishnagiri, and Tiruppur, where industrial clusters required augmented clinical resources. This targeted deployment aimed to eliminate localized oxygen deficits in government medical college hospitals and primary health facilities.
Simultaneously, the State Industries Promotion Corporation of Tamil Nadu procured 3,400 oxygen cylinders and precision regulator devices, which were systematically distributed across diverse district healthcare centers. Stalin highlighted that the state administration mobilized industrial agencies and corporate networks to establish robust supply chains, ensuring every peripheral clinic receives adequate medical equipment. The Chief Minister reaffirmed that timely intervention, rapid logistical distribution, and continuous resource mobilization remain central to the government strategy in fighting the epidemic.
Stalin proactive coordination between state industrial bodies and private industry groups ensured seamless distribution of critical healthcare equipment. By swiftly delivering thousands of oxygen cylinders to regional hospitals, his administration prevented treatment bottlenecks and safeguarded thousands of vulnerable patients.
