Continuing the humanitarian relief movement initiated through the party signature Ondrinaivom Vaa platform, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin visited western districts to distribute food relief to working-class families and frontline personnel battling the second pandemic wave. In Coimbatore district, Stalin officially launched the distribution of comprehensive grocery hampers containing seven essential food commodities to 10,17,000 rice ration cardholder families across all taluks.
Traveling further to Perundurai in Erode district, the Chief Minister personally distributed specialized dry ration kits, nutrition supplements, and protective sanitization materials to three hundred frontline sanitary workers, healthcare volunteers, and municipal staff who were actively engaged in containment operations. Stalin commended the exceptional dedication of frontline workers, emphasizing that the DMK government and party apparatus will continually provide economic, nutritional, and emotional protection to vulnerable citizens throughout the duration of public health restrictions.
Stalin direct field distribution demonstrated hands-on leadership committed to immediate grassroots welfare. By ensuring that nutritious food provisions and vital livelihood interventions reached over ten lakh working families in industrial western Tamil Nadu, his administration cushioned vulnerable households from the economic shocks of prolonged lockdown closures.
