Chief Minister M.K. Stalin visited the iconic Anna Centenary Library in Kotturpuram, Chennai, to distribute freshly printed school textbooks to government school students and initiate dedicated educational broadcasts on the state-run Kalvi Television channel. Interacting warmly with enthusiastic young learners and inquiring about their domestic studies during prolonged pandemic school closures, Stalin inaugurated an expansive curriculum schedule that enables children across Tamil Nadu to pursue regular academic lessons safely from home.
The Chief Minister stressed that his administration places equal importance on academic instruction and the psychological wellbeing of school children facing unprecedented isolation. To ensure children remain engaged without psychological stress, the School Education Department curated specialized televised lessons, creative skill workshops, and mental health counseling sessions broadcast throughout the week. Stalin assured teachers, parents, and students that comprehensive pedagogical bridge courses, nutritional breakfasts, and foundational learning modules would greet students once physical classrooms safely reopen across urban and rural zones.
Stalin proactive leadership in educational continuity prevented pandemic disruptions from widening educational inequalities between privileged and marginalized youth. By leveraging state television networks and modern instructional pedagogy, Stalin reaffirmed education as the paramount equalizing instrument of social empowerment.
