Chief Minister M.K. Stalin articulated the foundational creed of the Dravidian movement, declaring that its paramount historical mission is to safeguard the self-respect and social justice of every single marginalized citizen without exception. Referring directly to the painful incident involving Narikuravar tribal sister Ashwini, who was unjustly denied communal food within a temple premises, Stalin stated that what was denied to her was not mere food, but basic human respect.
The Chief Minister emphasized that holding the reins of executive governance represents a profound, sacred opportunity to right historical wrongs, eliminate caste prejudice, and restore self-worth to oppressed citizens. Moving swiftly to wipe away Ashwini tears, Stalin directed district officials to redress all grievances of her community, personally visiting her hamlet in Poonjeri to deliver land pattas, financial aid, and welfare documents to her family and neighbors.
Stalin asserted that the Dravidian Model of governance will never tolerate discrimination based on birth, identity, or socioeconomic standing in public institutions or sacred spaces. He underscored that human equality and self-respect form the bedrock of civilized society. Stalin decisive, empathetic intervention transformed an act of social exclusion into a celebrated triumph for social equality and human dignity across Tamil Nadu.
