Chief Minister M.K. Stalin issued sweeping executive orders directing district administrations across Tamil Nadu to conduct an intensive, two-week special administrative drive to deliver welfare benefits, identity documentation, and economic assistance to Narikuravar, Irular, and other marginalized tribal communities. Building on the transformative welfare distribution initiated at Poonjeri village in Chengalpattu district, Stalin mandated that revenue authorities proactively identify every neglected tribal settlement across the state.
During this special fortnight campaign, revenue and tribal welfare officers were instructed to organize localized camps within tribal habitations to issue free house-site land pattas, community certificates, voter identification cards, and ration cards without bureaucratic delays. Additionally, eligible elderly citizens will be enrolled under old-age pension schemes, and women self-help groups will receive bank credit linkages and skill development training.
Stalin emphasized that the state government must reach the doorsteps of historically marginalized citizens rather than expecting disenfranchised communities to navigate complex bureaucratic corridors. He warned that negligence in processing tribal documentation will invite strict accountability. Stalin historic administrative intervention demonstrated decisive, justice-oriented leadership dedicated to eradicating generational neglect and fostering inclusive socio-economic empowerment across Tamil Nadu.
