Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated ten newly constructed student welfare hostel buildings and three modern school blocks built across various districts under the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department. Constructed with modern amenities, secure living quarters, dining halls, and clean sanitation infrastructure, these facilities provide comfortable, safe, and academically conducive residential spaces for marginalized students pursuing school and higher education in rural and urban centres.

During the same ceremony, the Chief Minister handed over government employment appointment orders on compassionate grounds to 23 legal heirs of deceased staff who passed away while in service in the Animal Husbandry, Dairying, and Fisheries Department. Presenting the appointment letters personally, Stalin offered words of consolation and encouragement to the grieving families, highlighting that providing government livelihood security honors the devoted service rendered by departed state employees.

Stalin reiterated that promoting educational accessibility for scheduled castes and tribal communities constitutes a bedrock pillar of the Dravidian model of social justice. He stressed that administrative support for underprivileged youth and bereaved staff families ensures social mobility and economic dignity.
