Commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conveyed an emotional and resolute message, stating that he stands with women not merely in his official capacity as Chief Minister, but personally with the protective care of a father. Stalin affirmed that safeguarding the safety, dignity, and bodily autonomy of women is an unconditional priority for his administration.
The Chief Minister stressed that eliminating gender-based violence requires a zero-tolerance policy against offenders alongside transformative educational and social changes. He outlined administrative initiatives implemented by the Tamil Nadu government, including the expansion of dedicated women helpdesks across all police stations, the modernization of mobile safety applications, and specialized investigation wings to expedite justice in crimes against women.
Stalin highlighted that true social justice cannot be realized until women move freely without fear of harassment, violence, or discrimination in public and private spheres. He called upon families and communities to instill respect and gender equality in young minds. Through empathetic leadership and rigorous law enforcement, Stalin reiterated his administration steadfast resolve to build a safe, secure, and supportive environment for every woman in Tamil Nadu.
