Frontline personnel braved relentless downpours, working day and night without sleep or rest to unclog storm drains, clear uprooted trees, operate heavy drainage pumps, and restore disrupted electrical feeders. Stalin noted that while citizens remained indoors during stormy weather, these devoted workers put their personal safety on the line to safeguard public infrastructure and prevent catastrophic waterlogging across major urban roads.
The Chief Minister remarked that words alone cannot adequately express the state gratitude to these unsung public servants whose selfless commitment averted widespread devastation. He instructed senior departmental officials to ensure the welfare, safety, and proper refreshment of all field personnel deployed on emergency duty.
