Chief Minister M.K. Stalin continued his extensive field tours of rain-hit northern districts, visiting affected communities across Kanchipuram and Chengalpattu following earlier inspections in Chennai and Tiruvallur. Inspecting submerged fields, residential colonies, and overflowing water channels, Stalin directly assessed restoration works undertaken by district administrations and directed municipal teams to hasten water drainage using heavy pumping equipment and modern machinery.

During the visit, the Chief Minister interacted with gathering crowds of residents, listened patiently to their grievances, and accepted petitions regarding property damages, crop inundation, and road repairs.
