Prioritizing the safety and well-being of young citizens, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin flagged off two specialized multipurpose child safety awareness vehicles developed by the Tamil Nadu Police. The mobile units are equipped with audio-visual equipment, educational displays, and interactive learning tools designed to conduct awareness campaigns against child abuse, cyber exploitation, and substance abuse across educational institutions.

The customized awareness vans will tour schools, colleges, and public spaces, educating students on personal safety protocols, child helplines, and legal protections under the POCSO Act. Stalin emphasized that building a secure environment for children requires proactive prevention, community awareness, and accessible policing rather than purely reactive law enforcement measures.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the administration is modernizing the police force to make it more citizen-friendly, compassionate, and responsive to vulnerable groups.
