Expanding administrative facilities to provide seamless citizen services, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated a modern District Registrar office complex in Virudhachalam along with fifteen new Sub-Registrar office buildings constructed under the Commercial Taxes and Registration Department. The newly constructed facilities provide spacious record rooms, digital document processing counters, and comfortable waiting halls for citizens across regional towns.

During the ceremony, Stalin personally handed over appointment orders to candidates recruited under compassionate grounds, offering secure public employment to families of deceased departmental staff. He commended the Registration Department for adopting modern administrative practices and urged officials to serve the public with efficiency, courteousness, and transparency during property documentation procedures.

The Chief Minister highlighted that upgrading decentralized registrar offices reduces overcrowding and accelerates property registration services for rural and suburban citizens. Modernizing sub-registrar offices forms an integral component of the state strategy to make government services accessible close to citizens' doorsteps while curbing administrative delays.
