Advancing civic infrastructure and youth employment simultaneously, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated forty-four completed municipal administration and water supply projects executed at an investment of 533 crore rupees across various local bodies in Tamil Nadu. The initiatives encompass modern water distribution networks, underground sewerage facilities, and community sanitation systems designed to elevate urban living standards.

During the event, Stalin personally handed over appointment orders to 1,037 newly selected candidates joining municipal bodies, providing stable public sector employment to educated youth. In a poignant humanitarian gesture, the Chief Minister also disbursed twenty-five lakh rupees each in financial compensation to the families of two dedicated sanitation frontline workers who died while serving the public during the pandemic.
