Chief Minister M.K. Stalin presented prestigious state literary honors and cash awards to distinguished researchers, scholars, and their families who dedicated their careers to studying the revolutionary poetry and nationalist philosophy of Mahakavi Subramania Bharati. The presentation ceremony marked the centenary commemoration of the visionary Tamil poet and freedom fighter across the state.

Posthumous honors and monetary awards were handed over to the families of pioneering Bharati researchers, including Periasamy Thooran, R.A. Padmanabhan, T.M.C. Raghunathan, and Ilasai Manian. Additionally, Stalin personally honored veteran researchers Seeni Viswanathan and Professor Y. Manikandan in recognition of their decades-long scholarship documenting Bharati life, manuscripts, and literary contributions.

Stalin highlighted Bharati fiery verses championing social freedom, gender equality, and national liberation, noting that the poet vision closely mirrors the core tenets of the Dravidian movement. He affirmed that honoring scholars who preserve literary history is an essential responsibility of a progressive welfare government dedicated to intellectual heritage.

Through these distinguished awards, Stalin reaffirmed his administration profound reverence for Tamil literature. The recognition celebrates scholarly dedication, ensuring Bharati timeless call for equality and intellectual enlightenment continues to inspire new generations of thinkers and writers.
