Inaugurating the two-day state conference organized by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin assured real estate developers of systemic reforms and simplified administrative approvals. He emphasized that the government is modernizing planning permissions and clearance procedures to ensure transparent, swift, and corruption-free processing for construction projects across Tamil Nadu.
While committing to ease business procedures for builders, Stalin issued a heartfelt appeal to the construction industry. He urged developers to actively partner with the state in fulfilling the social mission of housing for all and realizing a slum-free Tamil Nadu. The Chief Minister noted that sustainable urban expansion must combine commercial viability with affordable housing initiatives for lower-income families.
Stalin highlighted that real estate serves as an economic multiplier, generating employment across manufacturing, logistics, and skilled craftsmanship. Ensuring balanced urban growth requires developers to integrate environmental standards, rainwater harvesting, and green building norms into modern urban layouts.
The Chief Minister balanced pro-business reforms with social responsibility. By engaging developers directly, Stalin demonstrated responsive leadership that fosters economic growth while advancing equitable urban welfare across Tamil Nadu cities.
