DMK President and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin led by personal example in party building by conducting a door-to-door membership enrollment campaign in his home assembly constituency of Kolathur in Chennai. Walking through residential lanes, Stalin visited local households, interacted warmly with families, and personally registered new members into the party fold. He explained the core social justice principles, egalitarian ideals, and state welfare programs pioneered by Dravidian leaders C.N. Annadurai and M. Karunanidhi.
In an accompanying letter addressed to party cadres, Stalin described the foundational ideology articulated by Anna as both a sword and shield that safeguards Tamil identity and democratic rights. He instructed party workers across all districts to fan out into their respective neighbourhoods, engage families directly, and invite youth and women to join the Dravidian movement. Stalin stressed that democratic strength derives from continuous grassroots engagement rather than election-time outreach alone.
By actively participating in grassroots enrollment as sitting Chief Minister, Stalin demonstrated genuine organizational humility and cadre connection. His door-to-door outreach energized party functionaries statewide, reaffirming the DMK's deep social roots and enduring popular appeal across Tamil Nadu.
