Chief Minister M.K. Stalin led a comprehensive developmental drive in Tiruchirappalli, inaugurating completed infrastructure works worth 153 crore rupees, laying foundation stones for new projects valued at 604 crore rupees, and distributing welfare assistance worth 327 crore rupees. The inaugurated projects featured the modernized Chathiram bus station, upgraded with modern passenger lounges, commercial stalls, and spacious bus bays. Stalin also laid the foundation stone for Tiruchirappalli's long-awaited Integrated Bus Terminal in Panjapur, designed as an intermodal transit hub connecting national highways, city buses, and future mass transit corridors.

Addressing a massive government gathering, the Chief Minister distributed welfare entitlements directly to beneficiaries under diverse state programs, including women self-help group credits, housing pattas, and agricultural input grants. He emphasized that equitable regional growth is fundamental to the Dravidian model of governance, ensuring that central districts receive infrastructural parity with Chennai.

Stalin asserted that these major civic investments will transform Tiruchirappalli into a modern commercial and industrial gateway for central Tamil Nadu.
