Chief Minister M.K. Stalin expressed profound concern over the hospitalization of veteran freedom fighter, communist leader, and Thagaisal Thamizhar award recipient Comrade N. Sankaraiah following a Covid-19 infection, wishing him a rapid and complete recovery. Recognizing Sankaraiah's towering status in Tamil Nadu's public life, Stalin issued immediate directives to the state health department to constitute an exclusive multidisciplinary medical team to supervise his specialized clinical care.
The Chief Minister contacted attending physicians and hospital administrators to receive regular updates regarding the centenarian leader's vital signs, oxygen levels, and therapeutic protocols. Stalin instructed senior health authorities to ensure that all necessary pharmaceutical resources, diagnostic tools, and intensive care amenities were made available without delay. He noted that Comrade Sankaraiah's lifelong dedication to the working-class movement, anti-colonial resistance, and social justice remains an enduring source of inspiration for successive generations of political workers.
Stalin conveyed heartfelt solidarity and strength to Sankaraiah's family members, communist cadres, and progressive organizations statewide. He reaffirmed that the state administration remains fully committed to extending all necessary support to ensure the respected centenary leader returned to good health soon.
