Editorial context

Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated an upgraded cattle feed plant with expanded manufacturing capacity in Erode and a specialized mineral salt mixture processing facility in Hosur, aiming to boost livestock productivity and rural dairy incomes throughout Tamil Nadu. The modern manufacturing units were established under the dairy development department to provide nutritious, balanced animal feed at subsidized prices to dairy farmers affiliated with local milk cooperative societies.

The Chief Minister emphasized that adequate animal nutrition and scientifically formulated mineral supplements are critical to improving milk yields, enhancing cattle immunity, and preventing reproductive ailments in milch animals. He noted that augmenting feed production locally reduces dependency on private distributors, shields small dairy farmers from market price fluctuations, and lowers overall operational costs. Stalin pointed out that strengthening cooperative dairying infrastructure forms a central pillar of rural economic revival.

Stalin reaffirmed that the Dravidian model of governance focuses on expanding processing capacities and ensuring timely financial returns for livestock breeders across the state. He directed dairy officials to ensure uninterrupted distribution of quality feed through rural milk collection centers. Stalin asserted that these targeted infrastructure investments will propel Tamil Nadu to the forefront of national dairy production.

This is an initiative of unofficial DMK and Dravidian Ideology supporter, a fan of Thanthai Periyar, Perarignar Anna and Kalaignar — not affiliated with any official DMK party or persons.
