Chief Minister M.K. Stalin conducted an extensive on-site inspection of civic development projects across his home constituency of Kolathur in Chennai, reviewing field execution at Gowthamapuram, Ashok Avenue, G.K.M. Colony, Nethaji Nagar, and Anjugam Nagar. Despite managing demanding statewide administrative responsibilities, Stalin emphasized that directly interacting with local residents and supervising grassroots municipal works brings immense personal satisfaction and administrative clarity.

During his constituency tour, the Chief Minister inspected ongoing storm-water drain constructions, pavement restorations, and street lighting installations undertaken by Greater Chennai Corporation engineers. He reviewed project timelines, instructing municipal engineers to finish all pending civil works quickly without disrupting daily neighborhood traffic. Stalin also spoke directly with local families and small shopkeepers, listening attentively to their feedback regarding municipal water supply and sanitation maintenance.

Stalin reiterated that elected representatives must maintain constant ground contact with their constituents rather than relying solely on departmental files. He directed officials to maintain strict quality benchmarks across all residential civil contracts, emphasizing that public safety and convenience must remain top priorities. Stalin pledged continued focus on modernizing Kolathur's basic civic infrastructure to ensure equitable urban amenities for all neighborhoods.
