Reaffirming the core ideological tenets of the Dravidian movement, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin pledged to eliminate the cruel practice of untouchability and dismantle all forms of birth-based discrimination that sow discord in human minds. Stalin declared that human worth must never be judged by hereditary social standing, observing that there is nothing honorable in privileges that are inherited rather than earned through honest labor and personal merit.
The Chief Minister called upon citizens to ignite the flame of rational knowledge to consume the oppressive schemes of reactionary forces. He stressed that Thanthai Periyar, B.R. Ambedkar, and Perarignar Anna taught that social emancipation requires active resistance to caste prejudice alongside the cultivation of universal affection and mutual respect. Stalin highlighted that state policies under his administration aim to demolish social barriers through inclusive education, equitable reservation, and dignity of labor for historically marginalized communities.
Stalin urged every resident of Tamil Nadu to take a solemn vow to treat fellow human beings with absolute equality and fraternal kindness. He reaffirmed his government's steadfast commitment to building an enlightened, caste-free society where every individual flourishes with self-respect.
