Stalin recalled that during the opposition's tenure, even high-profile locations like former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa's Kodanad estate experienced serious crimes without proper accountability, reflecting pervasive institutional decay and compromised law enforcement.

In sharp contrast, the Chief Minister detailed how his administration restored administrative efficiency and launched vital developmental works across Salem within nine months of taking office. He cited targeted industrial initiatives, improved agricultural water distribution through the Mettur dam canal systems, and expanded public health services as proof of responsive governance.
