Concluding a statement on inter-state democratic solidarity, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin reaffirmed the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam's historic commitment to upholding state autonomy and federal rights across India. Stalin announced that preparations are actively underway to convene a landmark national conclave of opposition Chief Ministers outside New Delhi to deliberate on joint strategies for protecting constitutional federalism against centralizing overreach.

The Chief Minister emphasized that regional governments represent the distinct cultural, economic, and linguistic aspirations of hundreds of millions of citizens. When central authorities bypass state cabinets or employ unelected functionaries to obstruct progressive state legislation, the democratic compact that holds the Indian union together is dangerously frayed. Stalin stressed that organizing high-level conventions outside the national capital highlights the vital polycentric reality of Indian democracy and decentralizes national political discourse.

Stalin reiterated that Tamil Nadu will consistently serve as a vanguard in uniting non-BJP state administrations to demand equitable tax distribution, legislative autonomy, and strict limits on central interference. He expressed confidence that collective solidarity among regional leaders will build an effective national defense of constitutional democracy, cooperative federalism, and sovereign state rights.
