In a decisive statewide campaign message ahead of the urban local body elections, DMK president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin issued a passionate appeal to voters across all municipal corporations, municipalities, and town panchayats. Stalin called upon the electorate to cast their votes for Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidates on the iconic Rising Sun symbol and to support Secular Progressive Alliance candidates on their designated election symbols.

Stalin emphasized that an overwhelming mandate for the secular alliance would establish complete harmony between state-level developmental initiatives and municipal administration. He explained that municipal councils led by dedicated alliance representatives would effectively eliminate bureaucratic delays, prevent administrative corruption, and guarantee the swift delivery of pioneering social welfare schemes—such as free city bus travel for women, doorstep medical checkups, and expanded educational facilities.

Highlighting the alliance's steadfast ideological unity and grassroots discipline, the Chief Minister urged voters to reject divisive political forces. He assured citizens that every elected representative from the coalition will function with unswerving accountability, humility, and dedication, turning municipal offices into responsive centers of public service that elevate urban living standards across Tamil Nadu.
