Campaigning virtually for the urban local body elections in Tiruvallur district, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin engaged with thousands of voters, community organizers, and party workers across multiple municipalities and town panchayats. Stalin shared the live rally link to enable broad public access, presenting an extensive appraisal of his administration's first nine months of governance under the banner 'Let our governance bloom in local bodies too'.
During his address, the Chief Minister highlighted vital urban challenges facing fast-growing suburban and peri-urban towns in Tiruvallur, such as road connectivity, stormwater management, solid waste processing, and civic amenities. He emphasized that the DMK administration had swiftly approved developmental projects to prevent monsoon flooding, expand public transport, and safeguard residential settlements. Stalin underscored that having responsible, dedicated councillors from the Secular Progressive Alliance will ensure direct, transparent utilization of municipal welfare funds.
Stalin called upon voters to reject political opportunism and choose experienced representatives committed to grassroots service. He assured citizens that DMK-led councils will operate with maximum transparency, listen directly to public grievances, and coordinate closely with state departments to transform Tiruvallur's towns into model civic centers.
