Addressing voters in Tiruvallur district during the urban local body election campaign, DMK president and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin underscored that Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam governance historically transformed Tiruvallur from a rural hinterland into a bustling, modern industrial powerhouse. Pointing to manufacturing establishments ranging from automobile assembly lines to specialized glass production units, Stalin asserted that the DMK possesses an unmatched record of economic creation and infrastructure modernization.

The Chief Minister contrasted the DMK's constructive developmental vision with the economic stagnation and fiscal degradation caused by a decade of AIADMK rule. He pointed out that his administration had successfully restored fiscal discipline, attracted massive domestic and global industrial investments, and created thousands of high-quality employment opportunities for local youth within just nine months of assuming office.
