Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin commenced his birthday commemorations by paying floral tributes at the memorials of mentor leaders Periyar E.V. Ramasamy, C.N. Annadurai, and M. Karunanidhi in Chennai. He also visited the historic residences of Karunanidhi at Gopalapuram and CIT Colony, alongside the residence of veteran leader K. Anbazhagan, to seek blessings before dedicating his birthday to state youth through the launch of the Naan Mudhalvan scheme.
Stalin underscored that honoring the founding architects of the Dravidian movement renews the ideological resolve of the government to serve the people with integrity, humility, and dedication to social justice. He emphasized that rather than engaging in personal celebration, launching a comprehensive skill development program for ten lakh youth across Tamil Nadu reflects the core purpose of his public life.
The Chief Minister reaffirmed that the Naan Mudhalvan initiative will provide generational empowerment by equipping young scholars with advanced technical skills, higher education mentoring, and lucrative career pathways. He pledged to continue working tirelessly to realize the egalitarian dreams of his political mentors through dedicated and progressive governance.
