Stalin underscored that the fundamental constitutional obligation of the Government of India is to protect the life, dignity, and security of every Indian passport holder facing danger abroad. Concluding his appeal regarding the Ukraine crisis, Stalin called upon the Prime Minister Office to rein in Union ministers from delivering unwarranted, insensitive commentary and direct all governmental energies toward organizing immediate, comprehensive evacuation operations.
The Chief Minister emphasized that during severe geopolitical hostilities, sovereign nations must project decisive state capacity, diplomatic firmness, and compassionate leadership to safeguard overseas citizens. He noted that thousands of young students, migrant workers, and professionals stranded at freezing international borders require rapid evacuation logistics rather than patronizing political rhetoric or bureaucratic delays from national authorities.
Stalin reiterated that the Tamil Nadu administration is fully committed to supporting the Union government in all repatriation missions, having established round-the-clock helplines and deployed senior officials to assist transit operations. He urged the Centre to act with absolute urgency, ensuring that every stranded citizen is safely transported back to India without distinction, bias, or distress.
