Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated several major advanced infrastructure facilities at the Saint-Gobain industrial complex in Sriperumbudur, marking a substantial expansion of the company manufacturing capabilities in the state. The newly launched industrial additions include an advanced float glass manufacturing line, an integrated window production unit, and an expansive urban forest established on the factory campus to conserve ecological biodiversity.

The modern float glass line incorporates state-of-the-art energy-efficient melting technology, significantly boosting production capacity to meet growing domestic and international demand for specialized architectural glass. Simultaneously, the newly commissioned integrated window solution unit expands localized manufacturing of pre-engineered, high-performance building systems. Stalin commended the corporate management for integrating intensive industrial manufacturing with ecological stewardship by dedicating significant land area to dense urban forestry.

Stalin emphasized that Tamil Nadu continues to consolidate its position as a leading global manufacturing destination under his administration. He affirmed that the state government actively supports high-technology industrial investments that adopt sustainable environmental practices, integrate advanced manufacturing techniques, and generate high-quality engineering employment for local youth across key industrial corridors and modern manufacturing clusters statewide.
