தந்தை பெரியார் கொள்கையைப் போல் நூற்றாண்டுகள் கடந்து வாழ்க என வாழ்த்துகிறேன்!
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin extended affectionate felicitations to Dravidar Kazhagam President Asiriyar K. Veeramani, commemorating his completion of forty-five years at the helm of the historic rationalist organization. Stalin highlighted Veeramani lifelong dedication to social reform, noting that he entered the rationalist movement in his early youth under the direct mentorship of Thanthai Periyar. He praised Veeramani relentless ideological crusade against caste discrimination, superstitions, and social inequality across several decades.
Stalin commended Veeramani steadfast leadership in defending reservations, self-respect principles, and Dravidian ideology through public agitations, scholarly writings, and ideological workshops. As the editor of the historic daily Viduthalai, Veeramani has consistently provided ideological clarity and moral guidance to progressive forces across India. The Chief Minister emphasized that Veeramani institutional discipline and principled resilience remain an inspiring beacon for younger generations of social justice activists.
Invoking the eternal relevance of Periyar egalitarian ideology, Stalin wished Veeramani a long, healthy life to continue leading the ideological movement for centuries to come. He reaffirmed that the DMK government and Dravidar Kazhagam share an indissoluble bond rooted in self-respect principles, pledging to advance the cause of equality, rational thought, and human dignity statewide.
