Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced that his high-level trade deliberations with members of the UAE Investors Association and chief executive officers of premier multinational corporations yielded major industrial investments. The productive bilateral discussions in Dubai resulted in investment commitments totaling 2,600 crore rupees across manufacturing, logistics, and retail infrastructure. Stalin reported that these capital projects are slated to create direct and indirect employment opportunities for approximately 9,700 people in Tamil Nadu.

The investment agreements demonstrate growing global investor confidence in Tamil Nadu economic stability, transparent regulatory procedures, and robust manufacturing ecosystem. Stalin presented the state strategic advantages, including extensive industrial corridors, well-connected ports, uninterrupted power supply, and an abundance of skilled technical graduates. He assured corporate executives that the state single-window administrative system provides expedited approvals and seamless project implementation.

Stalin urged administrative departments to facilitate swift groundbreaking for all newly committed projects, reiterating his determination to make Tamil Nadu South Asia preeminent investment hub. He affirmed that attracting foreign direct investment remains central to realizing the state ambitious goal of a one-trillion-dollar economy, creating dignified livelihoods for youth across diverse regional districts.
