Continuing his productive diplomatic tour across the United Arab Emirates, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin held high-level meetings in Abu Dhabi with prominent chief executive officers and business magnates. Stalin presented Tamil Nadu diverse investment potential, highlighting strategic growth sectors such as retail infrastructure, food processing, logistics, and electronics. The high-profile meetings culminated in the signing of a landmark memorandum of understanding with retail titan LuLu Group, committing 3,500 crore rupees in fresh investments.

Under the comprehensive agreement, LuLu Group will establish international standard shopping malls, hypermarkets, and modern logistics centers across major urban centers in Tamil Nadu. The planned retail and warehousing infrastructure is projected to generate substantial direct and indirect employment for youth while providing regional farmers and food processors direct access to international export supply chains. Stalin commended LuLu Group chairman M.A. Yusuff Ali for choosing Tamil Nadu for large-scale capital expansion.

Stalin stressed that attracting substantial international investment reflects worldwide trust in Tamil Nadu stable governance and transparent commercial regulations. He affirmed that his administration remains dedicated to executing signed industrial commitments swiftly, spurring economic modernization, creating regional employment, and propelling Tamil Nadu closer to its ambitious one-trillion-dollar economic target.
