Guidance, the premier investment promotion nodal agency of the Tamil Nadu government, bagged the prestigious Best Investment Promotion Agency Award for the Asia Oceania Region at the Annual Investment Meeting 2022. Organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy of the United Arab Emirates, AIM is recognized worldwide as an authoritative gathering of international financiers, institutional funds, and sovereign investment leaders.
The award commends Guidance for exceptional performance in investor facilitation, transparent single-window clearances, and proactive policy measures that attract diversified global capital. Under Chief Minister M.K. Stalin administration, Tamil Nadu has pursued an ambitious industrial roadmap aimed at transforming the state into South Asia manufacturing hub. The agency dedicated efforts in securing multi-sectoral manufacturing and technology projects earned high praise from the international jury.
Stalin expressed immense pride in the achievement, calling it a global testament to the resilience, infrastructure readiness, and institutional efficiency of Tamil Nadu.
