During the detailed ministerial interaction, Stalin submitted a comprehensive memorandum containing urgent demands vital to Tamil Nadu economic growth and citizen welfare. He discussed critical issues, including ensuring steady raw cotton supplies for the state textile industry, accelerating central approvals for industrial clusters, and resolving pending food grain subsidies.
The Chief Minister expressed appreciation to Minister Goyal for the assistance rendered by his ministry during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly in facilitating emergency medical logistics and food grain distributions. Stalin noted that constructive engagement between Union ministries and state administrations is fundamental to solving pressing socioeconomic challenges. Minister Goyal assured Stalin that the Union government would examine the state demands favorably and expedite necessary policy actions.
