Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam president and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin formally inaugurated the Anna-Kalaignar Arivalayam in New Delhi, describing it as a formidable Dravidian fortress in the heart of the national capital. Stalin highlighted that the building was erected to ensure that the voice of the South—grounded in self-respect, social equality, and state rights—resounds with clarity and authority in national deliberations. He dedicated the party complex to the enduring memory of visionary mentors Perarignar Anna and Muthamizharignar Kalaignar.
Addressing the inaugural audience, Stalin affirmed that the historic struggle of the Dravidian people for equal rights and linguistic dignity will now echo across all eight directions from New Delhi. He pointed out that southern states have consistently driven India economic progress, social indicators, and industrial excellence, yet their legitimate federal aspirations often encounter bureaucratic neglect in the capital. Establishing this modern center ensures that southern interests receive relentless advocacy.
Stalin declared with deep conviction that the South will thrive, lead, and contribute vigorously to India democratic resilience. He pledged that the Delhi headquarters will serve as a beacon of rational thought, progressive ideology, and constitutional federalism for generations of democratic activists across the nation.
