We must form a collective of southern state CMs and then form a pan-Indian collective of CMs.
To save India, we must save the states.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin issued a clarion call to defend Indian democracy by resisting the brazen attempts of the BJP-led Union government to enforce cultural and administrative uniformity. In an interview highlighted by national media, Stalin stressed that centralizing policies are actively eroding the pluralistic character and constitutional diversity of the republic. He asserted that India survival as a vibrant democracy depends on the strength and autonomy of its constituent states.
The Chief Minister proposed a two-stage strategy to counter central overreach: first, forming a collaborative council of southern Chief Ministers, followed by establishing a pan-Indian collective of state Chief Ministers. He explained that such a non-partisan platform would enable states to coordinate policy positions on fiscal federalism, legislative autonomy, and language rights. Stalin summarized the democratic imperative with the memorable declaration, To save India, we must save the states.
Stalin affirmed that the Dravidian movement has always stood at the forefront of the struggle for true federalism. He urged regional leaders across party lines to unite against central encroachment, ensuring that the federal spirit of the Constitution is vigorously preserved.
