Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin extended hearty congratulations to veteran communist leader Comrade Sitaram Yechury upon his re-election as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist). Stalin also conveyed his warmest greetings to the newly elected Central Committee and Polit Bureau members following the conclusion of the 23rd Party Congress in Kannur, Kerala. He praised Yechury steadfast intellectual leadership and commitment to democratic values in national politics.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the resolutions adopted at the Kannur conference will invigorate the CPI(M) and strengthen progressive democratic unity across the country.
