Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin announced the public opening of a special art exhibition showcasing 365 expressive paintings inspired by Thirukkural couplets at the Anna Centenary Library in Chennai. The artworks were created by talented artists under the Theera Kaadhal Thirukkural initiative, a cultural project launched to interpret the timeless moral philosophy of saint-poet Thiruvalluvar through visual arts. Stalin invited students, scholars, and citizens to visit the gallery and experience the moral heritage depicted.
The Chief Minister pointed out that the universal wisdom of the Thirukkural transcends religious dogmas and sectarian divisions, offering rational ethical guidance for personal conduct, righteous governance, and egalitarian society. He noted that transforming poetic couplets into visual masterpieces helps younger generations comprehend profound concepts of virtue, integrity, and social harmony with clarity.
Stalin reiterated that upholding Thiruvalluvar philosophy remains foundational to the Dravidian model administration. He emphasized that the state government actively supports Tamil literature, classical linguistics, and artistic expressions that champion human dignity and equality. The Chief Minister urged the Tamil community to celebrate ethical literature and uphold universal humanist values in daily civic life.
