Stalin telephoned Sub-Inspector Margaret Teresa, who was injured in an assault while performing temple bandobast duty in Tirunelveli district, to enquire about her health. Expressing deep concern for her well-being, Stalin conveyed personal words of encouragement and commended her courage in the line of duty. He assured the wounded officer that the state administration stands firmly behind her and all frontline police personnel.
The Chief Minister confirmed that police authorities acted swiftly, arresting the perpetrator involved in the violent attack. Stalin instructed district health officials and attending hospital doctors to provide advanced specialized medical treatment to ensure her rapid recovery. He stressed that acts of violence against uniformed personnel performing lawful public duties will be dealt with severely under the law.
Stalin affirmed that the safety and dignity of police officers remain top priorities for his government. He reiterated that the administration maintains strict vigil to ensure workplace security for women police officers across all jurisdictions.
